Eric Ebron Carted Off at Lions Mock Game at Ford Field

On Saturday morning, the Detroit Lions began their team mock game getting ready for the rapidly approaching preseason. Everything was going well until the second half when third year tight end Eric Ebron was carted off the field with a lower leg injury.

Writers covering the mock game noted that Ebron had his head down and did not put any pressure on the injured right leg. He reportedly had his foot stepped on and was tested for an achilles injury. The Lions are shallow at the tight end position with Cole Wick, Matthew Mulligan, Adam Fuehne as the remaining players available.
